By the end of the day, delegates will:

  • Be able to brief your staff and governors on what to expect during the two days of inspection
  • Have a better understanding of how to present key data and answer difficult questions
  • Know how to play an active role in the inspection process.

PROGRAMME FOR THE DAY

Most courses start at 9am till 4.30pm

Lunch will be provided at all venues and is normally taken at 1pm

AM: The morning will be spent working with the Ofsted Inspection Framework in order to familiarise delegates with what happens before, during and after the inspection, what is involved at each stage and what inspectors will be looking for.

PM: During the afternoon, there will be practical workshops on the presentation of evidence, including data in order to help delegates to plan for an inspection and to understand what key evidence they need to have to show their school in the best light possible. There will also be a focus on how best to involve pupils, parents, staff and governors during the inspection process.
