The program is easy to manage and supports the assessment for learning process. It reduces the time needed for recording and analysing crucial learning information and clearly identifies strengths and weaknesses in individual pupil's learning and the learning of groups of pupils through easy to understand graphs and tables.
The New QCA PLTS curriculum includes six areas providing essential building blocks that enable pupils to learn key life skills. It helps to prepare them for the demands in the 21st century and provides them with work placed skills that industry tells us are lacking in our young people.
The six learning Criteria:
Each aspect is measured out of 10. Analysis shows variations from subject to subject or aspect to aspect. This is used to identify where pupils are successful or where they need to make improvements. It shows if there are strengths in the way teachers approach their teaching or in the way pupils respond to particular styles. All of this information is used to help to improve both teaching and learning.
